A little anouncement.. *ahem*.. The music for Indy 3--er--Indy 2, has been completed! A big THANK YOU to Michael Rudd! As I posted a while back, you can listen to Mike's work here.

Anyway, the film ought be uploaded in a day or two.

Okay, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, the good news is a better good than the bad news is bad. I guess that makes two good newses...

Bad news first:
We will have to wait just a little longer for the new Indy film to be released.

That wasn't so bad, was it? Especially since, the reason for the delay is that composer Michael Rudd has graciously offered to score the movie for us! Judging by the couple minutes we've heard so far, it's going to be a lot better than my score was.

Today, December 8th, with a foot of snow on the ground, we finished filming the last pickup for Indy 2. Think you'll notice the change of seasons? Probably not.




Paddy affirms that, yes, it is indeed cold out. And snowy.

We're learning a lot about creating music for this short, but it is quite a challenge. I have written about a minute or so, and we will be mixing in some royalty-free canned music as well. The end is a little ways off yet, but definitely in sight!

We were working on voiceovers today and threw together this crummy little low-quality "behind the scenes" bit, just to prove that we are in fact working on this project... Enjoy!



We are attempting to write and perform our own musical score for the movie, so that will probably slow down our progress... It's a good project to learn on, though.

Been awhile since I posted... Now that we don't have to push so hard to get the filming done, we've been kinda enjoying the fall weekends and have gotten a bit lazy in the "Indy" department. I have been dutifully chugging away at the editing stuff late into the night, however. So, the project is still coming together, little by little. We're working on a trailer that should be up soonish, so you'll get a little peek...

Today we finished all of the filming for Indy 2, save a few green screen shots. Phew! Quite a relief, especially since fall colors are already starting to pop up... Waaay to soon, if you ask me. This was our sixth "filming afternoon", and the finished film should run at least as long as the original, if not a minute or two longer. We'll be posting updates throughout the editing process, and maybe even a trailer or something... Guess it depends how long it takes to edit. Check back!

"Indiana John and the Riders for the Lost Artifact" it is!

There have been several modifications to the site, including an Indiana John page and a revamped About Us page.

Indiana John and the Silver Platter will be released tonight (Sunday, May 11th), providing we have no more computer trouble!

Just a heads-up.

Indiana John's comin' along... We have a couple blue screen pickup shots to film yet, but the majority of the movie is completely edited, sound-effected, musicified, you name it.. If the weather cooperates, we hope to have it out in a week or two, but I make no guarantees... No way to know how many spare minutes I'll find to work on it...

Also, we will be adding a short stop-motion animated film that we made about 3 years ago, starring your favorite lego actors. It needs a little touching up first, though..

Spring is here and we are keeping very busy around our homestead! This leaves less time for hobbies like filmmaking, but we are still making progress on the editing for Indiana John. We have the whole movie sequenced, and are very excited to be seeing it all come together! The final length of the short film will be between 5 and 10 minutes. And, (for those who have asked or might be wondering), yes, this movie will be FREE. (Not that George Lucas would be too happy if we sold it anyway...) We made the film because we wanted more of our work to be available to all, and to test out some new editing software. Not to mention that filming action is just so fun...

Anyway, hang in there... It won't be TOO much longer!

I'll bet some of you were wondering at this point if "Indiana John" would ever be completed, weren't you? Well, the truth is, so were we... However, a late snowstorm gave us the motivation to get out with the camera and finish what we had begun! We are happy to announce that the last of the filming was completed today. *whew*... (Try making an action movie out in the knee-deep snow with a crabby 5 year old sibling and tell me how it goes... )

Now the editing begins, and you can expect it to take awhile as we are in the process of learning how to use all-new software...

We'll try to post some pics now and again to help the time pass more quickly.

Well, earlier this week we had a great idea for a new "Johnny" movie... "Indiana John"! Also, we decided that we couldn't wait 'till spring to film it, so we went into production today.
