Position Summary Hiawatha Communications Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Human Resources Specialist / Assistant to the President/CEO. This dual-role position is pivotal in overseeing comprehensive human resources functions while providing high-level administrative support to the President/CEO. The role offers a dynamic rhythm, some days demand quick decision-making and immediate response to pressing matters, while others allow for strategic planning and preparation. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting both our employees and executive leadership with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

Qualifications Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of HR and/or executive administrative experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Strong judgment, confidentiality, and interpersonal awareness.
